Introduction
Technology is increasing at exponential rates and so is the creation of digital art. Go back just a few years and artists’ main tools would be a canvas and paint, but now it is a computer and programs like photo-shop. Soon there will be programs, if not photo-shop itself, that have predetermined criteria and when you play a song the computer will create a painting that will match the tone and feeling of the song. What will that criteria be is what our research group wanted to know. What colors do people associate with different types and styles of music?
